I stopped updating this when the nights started to draw in and all the plants died off. It was slightly sad but ultimately a fulfilling experience when I look back on the pictures.

The next year (2005) I grew loads more stuff but realised that I didn’t have the patience to both grow loads of stuff and blog it so I stopped blogging it.

All-in-all though the Geek Gardener project was a success!

Due to real life taking over for a while, predominantly preparations for an event on October 2nd that most of the regular readership already know about , I’ve not had time to blog stuff. The sunflowers requiring (ideally) water three or four times a day (their little pots can’t hold much) also eats away at my spare time.

Suffice to say that everything’s doing well (erm, except the pansies). More on that later when I get a spare hour.

Today, number two has flowered! Hooray! Isn’t he lovely?
